Study Club & Enrichment Club
Building Strong Foundations, One Day at a Time.
What Is Our Study Club & Enrichment Club?
At Renaissance Academy of Learning, our Study Club & Enrichment Club is a year-round program designed to support students academically while nurturing well-rounded development. Consistency is key. Rather than relying on sporadic help, students receive ongoing, structured support, helping them progress steadily, build confidence, and develop lifelong study habits essential for academic success. These programs are designed for students kindergarten through grade 3.
How to register
Please email hello@renaissanceacademy.ca or call 604-241-0141 ext 237. Our administrator will be able to let you know the availability for this program.
Study Club
(Mon-Fri 3:30 – 4:30)
Our Study Club focuses on academic reinforcement and skill-building aligned with the BC curriculum.
Students review and strengthen key areas in:
- Math
- English Language Arts
With a 1:10 teacher-to-student ratio, our teachers are able to identify each child’s current learning level and assign work based on their individual needs, not just their grade. This consistent, daily structured support helps prevent learning gaps, builds confidence, and often eliminates the need for costly private tutoring.
Students receive a personalized learning binder with worksheets and materials, which is reviewed during each semester with parents. This ensures clear communication and allows families to request targeted support in any area their child may need.
Please note: Most students are hungry after school, so we set aside the first 10 minutes for snack time, followed by a 10-minute transition period for students heading to enrichment programs. The core instructional time is approximately 40 minutes.
